Do you seek to make a difference? Shriver Center sites are already filling quickly!

As a testament to the culture of civic engagement at UMBC, the Service-Learning Program at The Shriver Center is already experiencing a high volume of student interest for Spring 2011 to support the greater community through their respective talents and abilities. Some sites already have enough volunteers such as Educated Based Latino Outreach (EBLO) that partners UMBC students with children of Latino descent). MS Swim, which works with adults with multiple sclerosis at the local YMCA, only have a few more spots Fridays, 1-4pm (Sunday is full).

If you seek to make a difference through service to others, call (410) 455-2493 to set an appointment with a Service-Learning Coordinator. You can also come in for Walk-In hours Tuesday-Thursday (2/8-2/10) from 12-4pm. For more information on some of our sites, please go to http://www.shrivercenter.org/service_forms.html and view both SPRING 2011 Service Charts (Community Outreach and K-16).
