Take a tour of the Montgomery County Pre-Release Center and learn about the various programs offered to the residents, as well as internship and volunteer opportunities available to UMBC students.
The Pre-Release Center is designed to work with people who are released from jails in order to spend the last 3-6 months of their sentence preparing for a return to the community. Students will learn about programs such as: criminal justice mentoring, job readiness and other programs, including recreation.
Visit Date: Friday, March 11th
Time: Leave the UMBC Shriver Center at roughly 7:30 AM (1st Floor of the Public Policy Building) and return by 1:00 PM
