We currently have an opening for a Computer Science or Engineering student to apply his/her technical talents in one or more of the following areas at the direction and assistance of the Control System Administrator in Baltimore:
1. Technical writing
a. Developing troubleshooting and help pages for operators
b. Training documents
c. Specifications
2. Scripting Languages – develop applications for
a. Web pages (static and dynamic)
b. Control systems applications
c. Database Queries
3. Operator Interfaces
a. Graphic Representations of Processes
b. Graphic design of Web Pages
Requirements: You are expected to meet the employment standards that our regular full time employees would meet. You must be eligible to work in the United States and have a strong academic record (3.0 GPA or better). You must be entering your junior or senior year in college and have completed some course work toward a degree in computer science or engineering. You must be at least 18 years old. You must be available to work a minimum of six (6) consecutive weeks during the months of May through August. Prior related experience is a plus. Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to write clearly and accurately, and strong verbal communication skills are essential. As part of the hiring process, you must successfully complete a background investigation, reference check, and pre-placement physical and drug screen.
