Attention BFA Majors- Interactive Web Design Intern Needed- $15 per hour

Mediabarn is currently seeking an Interactive Web Designer to join our talented group of creatives. $15 per hour

This position is in Reston, Virginia.

This is your chance to work on some amazing high-end consumer facing websites and online products. Minimum 2 years of interface design experience (internships are okay) is preferred. Salary is very competitive with excellent benefits! We are open to explore full time or part time opportunities.

Expert knowledge of tools and applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, advanced knowledge of Flash and CSS/HTML preferred.

Understands the importance of website performance and is motivated to design for extreme optimization.

Well versed in design fundamentals including composition, color theory, typography, concept development and motion design.

Designs and executes graphical interface treatments for on-line websites and applications resulting in clean, tight, screen designs.

Articulates multiple concepts and ideas quickly with good storyboarding skills.

Understands information architecture, user interface essentials, interaction design, brand image management and style guide creation.

Requirements:
Agency experience is a big plus
Passion for product design is a must
Strong sense of technical capabilities
Ability to effectively communicate with peers and next level of management is essential
BFA or a degree in a design related field
