The LifeBridge Health Marketing and Community Relations Department is seeking a Web Design student to participate in an internship beginning in March of 2009. The Web Design Intern will work under the direction of the LifeBridge Health Webmasters to gain experience in a professional environment while building on his/her current skills. Responsibilities will include creating web graphics, updating and developing webpages for LifeBridge Health and its affiliates using Photoshop, Content Management System (Medseek SiteMaker), Dreamweaver, and HTML. The student will receive a compensation of $10.00 an hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week.

The Maryland Department of Transportation Fellows Internship Program is designed to introduce Maryland's most promising college students to the rewards and challenges of working within Maryland's integrated transportation system. During the summer, interns are placed in senior-level assignments in one of MDOT's integrated system of agencies. Then during the subsequent fall or spring semesters, students participate in a part-time internship in one of MDOT's agencies. CMS announces a 12-week Summer Intern Program for current students. CMS is the Federal agency that administers the Medicare, Medicaid, and State Children's Health Insurance Programs. HACU National Internship Program program recruits college students for paid summer and semester-long internships at federal agencies and private corporations in Washington, D.C., and throughout the country. These ten and fifteen-week internship programs give college students direct experience in a myriad of careers in the federal and corporate sectors.

To date, HNIP has helped over 7,000 students find internships that closely relate to their majors or career goals. Though we started in 1992 with only 24 interns working at one participating federal agency, we have expanded our program each year. Innovative Company (Encore Path- http://www.encorepath.com/about.html), located in the Canton Can Company is in need of a PAID Webmaster Intern ASAP ($2,500 for 180 hour internship). Encore Path is a UMBC spinoff company created in 2006 to develop stroke rehabilitation devices.
