Shabeh Yalda: A Celebration of the Longest Night of the Year

Shabe Yalda is a traditional Persian holiday celebrating winter solstice and the longest night of the year. This holiday is usually celebrated by gathering friends and family for a night of dancing, and food. The UMBC Persian Student Association's is extending this holiday out the UMBC community. Come join us in celebrating the longest night of the year with a night filled with performances, dancing, and food!

Where: UC Ballroom, UMBC
Time: Doors open at 8, event begins at 8:30
Tickets: FREE For UMBC students, $10 for non-UMBC students
