Interested in Chinese or Korean Culture?

The study C-STARS is part of a large goal to examine the adaptation of immigration Chinese and Korean families in Maryland. We are focusing on Cinese and Korean families with young children. Specifically, we are interested in their acculturation (how they are adapting to the new
culture), how this influences their parenting, and their children's development. We are now looking for research assistants who can interview and interact with these families.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to:
a. earn upper-level research credits;
b. learn more about Chinese/Korean culture and Chinese/Korean families in the U.S.;
c. build up references and/or your resume;
d. learn more about the research process and do hands-on research;
e. be part of a diverse team of undergrads, grads, and professors;
f. understand what other Chinese/Korean do to achieve their success, and have a better plan for your own future.

You don't need to worry much about your busy schedule, because your time working in the lab is very flexible. You can work during either weekdays or weekend.

Please email us back at cstars_project@yahoo.com for more details, or call us back at 410-455-5755 to set up time to meet with the graduate students in charge of the project.

Thanks for your interest and look forward to hearing from you.
