UMBC College Bowl Team Wins Regional Tournament!

The UMBC College Bowl Team won the Regional College Bowl Tournament, which was held at California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pennsylvania, this past weekend. The team came in 1st place out of 12 other universities and will be invited to the National Championship at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn in May. The team consists of the following students: Michael Fasulo - Junior, Bryan Wilkinson - Junior, William Krueger - Sophomore, and Marc Zerfas - Freshman.

College Bowl is the longest running academic competition in the country. The UMBC College Bowl program was sponsored by The Commons, SEB, and SGA. This is the second year in a row that UMBC has won the Regional College Bowl Tournament. At the National Championships, UMBC will be facing 15 other universities across the country including the Defending National Champions from University of Minnesota, Ohio State University, University of Wisconsin, and Washington University - St. Louis.
