UMBC launches the National Survey of Student Engagement February 18th!

UMBC wants your feedback! Check your UMBC e-mail starting February 18th for a message from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) on behalf of President Hrabowski, and tell us about your undergraduate experience at UMBC. Students who complete the survey by May 1, 2008 will be eligible to win one of four $100 Amazon.com gift certificates.

The NSSE is a survey of first-year and senior-level undergraduate students at both public and private four-year institutions. It gauges the extent to which colleges are providing experiences associated with a quality undergarduate education and the extent to which students are engaging in those educationally meaningful activities.

With sponsorship from the Offices of the President and Provost, UMBC first participated in 2000. The results have been used to makes changes to curriculum, programs, and resources.
