Good afternoon student leaders!
The Career Services Center is sponsoring a Diversity Recruitment Forum next week in the UC Ballroom. This event is open to ALL STUDENTS. This will be the last major networking event of the semester, so take the opportunity to meet with employers on campus! Have free lunch and meet employers in your major. Employers who are interested in diversifying their workforce will be on hand to discuss career opportunities within their organizations.
* Talk to and have lunch with employers who are matched to your industry and interested in your major
* Hear an honored keynote speaker. Mr. Tyrone Taborn, Chairman and CEO of Career Communications Group, speak on "Cultural Intelligence: Enhancing your Marketability in the Growing Marketplace."
* Attend a networking fair
Dress professionally and bring several copies of your resume. Pre-registration for the lunch is required. Limited seating will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must be a UMBC student. Priority will be given to juniors and seniors, but all students of all majors are encouraged to attend. The mini job fair that follows is open to anyone.
Visit the event's website at http://www.careers.umbc.edu/news_events/diversity.php to register for the lunch or to see a list of participating employers. Students must register for the lunch forum by 5pm on Friday, March 28!
We hope to see you there!
