Skylight After hours: An Internet Café & Lecture Series

Dear Members of the UMBC Community:

The Commuter Connection Team, UMBC Media and Communication Studies,
Sodexo Dining Services, in cooperation with The Commons Administration,
is sponsoring Skylight After hours: An Internet Café & Lecture Series.
The event is held on the second Monday and Tuesday evenings of the
month, beginning March 10-May 12, 2008 from 6-8pm. The program includes
light fare (concessions) menu, computer stations and a lecture series.

The grand opening kickoff will be held on Monday, March 10 at 6pm.
Members of the campus communities are invited to join the Commuter
Connection Team and other students for an opening reception and preview
of the concept stations. Then come back on Tuesday night for a lecture
by guest speaker, Jackie Regales, Lecturer with Media and
Communications. Ms.Regales will speak on the topic: "The Future of the
Internet: Utopian and Dystopian Possibilies".

For additional information about the Skylight After hours program, hours
of operation and special events, contact Eraline Sabino, Commuter
Connection Marketing and Promotions assistant at OCSS@umbc.edu. Skylight
After hours is a part of the OCSS Commuter Connection: Good Evening
Commuters program; student inspired and student operated. All members of
the UMBC community are invited to attend!
