Alpha Nu Omega, Inc interest meeting!

Asian American Forum tomorrow!

There's an exciting event tomorrow! It's our 2nd annual Asian American Forum! The forum will be like a workshop that focuses on various issues (awareness, anonymity (identity), and action) in the Asian American community and UMBC.

It's in the Sportszone @ 7pm. There will be FREE FOOD and free admission so feel free to stop by, chow down, attend one of the workshops, and give your input! Note: Ethnicities of all kind are welcome!

HACU Scholarship Opportunity

For the 2008-2009 academic year, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) will be awarding over 350,000 in scholarships. There’s ONLY three weeks left for all students to submit the online application. Please share this information with any students interested in defraying college cost for the upcoming academic year.


Scholarship Program Criteria:

· Demonstrate Financial Need (Must apply to FAFSA)

· Meet specified criteria for one or more scholarships

· Currently attend a HACU-member institution (for a list visit: http://www.hacu.net/hacu/HACU's_Members_EN.asp?SnID=427482942 )

What to expect when beginning Scholarship Online Application Process.

Step 1 Personal Information & Education Background. Complete. Continue.

NOTE: You must complete entire section before you move to the next step.

Step 2 SYSTEM will match you to eligible scholarship(s). Confirm. Continue.

NOTE: This page will only list the scholarship(s) you are eligible for.

Step 3 Special Skills, Resume, Essay & Downloadable Documents Page.

NOTE: This critical section is to be completed in its entirety. Please review your essay questions carefully and download the forms to be submitted by mail.

Step 4 Student Certification. Read. Agree to Final notice. Submit.

NOTE: After you have submitted the online application, make sure to mail your supporting documents by the deadline. (Verification of Enrollment and Official Transcript). In addition, check your application status in the MY APPLICATION section of your profile. This should read SUBMITTED.

Apply for SGA Executive Branch!!!

Applications for the 2008-2009 SGA Executive Branch are now available!

Last Chance to apply for a position on the SGA Executive Branch

Applications for next year's SGA Executive Branch are due tomorrow at 5pm! If you are interested and haven't picked up an application, there are some available in the Commons Student Organizations Room (2nd floor). It's a great way to get involved on campus!
