Upward Bound is a federal program dedicated to making the transition from high school to college possible for underrepresented teens in Baltimore Co. and Baltimore City.
We are looking for tutor/counselors for the upcoming academic year component.During the academic year students receive tutoring on Saturday mornings. Tutor/counselors help students with their studies as well as social skills .
The requirements are:
-Ability to tutor in Math, Science, Foreign Language, or English
-Must have 30 or more credits
- Must have a 2.75 GPA or higher
-Must be able to work with teenagers
-Background in tutoring or counseling preferred but NOT required
