The BSURE Program at UMBC
This summer research training program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County was developed for talented undergraduates who are dedicated to the advancement of underrepresented groups in the sciences and mathematics.

The BSURE Program at UMBC is supported by the NIDDK (National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases) Short-term Education Program for Minority Students.

This program provides participants state-of-the-art scientific research experience to encourage consideration of biomedical research careers in areas of specific interest to the NIDDK.

Program Description
