Dear UMBC Students,

Please note the following important changes related to payment of student accounts.

As of 9/13/07, credit card payments for student accounts will only be accepted online and a 2.65% convenience fee will be charged when making those payments through our One Time Payment and E-Billing sites. The Cashier's Office no longer accepts credit card payments for student accounts.

In addition, we have added American Express as an online payment option, but please note that VISA is no longer accepted.

Students can continue to pay online via ACH (electronic checks and withdrawal from savings accounts) at no charge.

We want to strongly encourage all students who have not enrolled in e-billing to please do so as soon as possible, as UMBC no longer issues paper bills. To enroll in e-billing, please go to www.umbc.edu/ebilling.
