Rowe Price and hundreds of other local, regional

recent UMBC graduates;

for companies like Rohm and Haas to
enter into collaborative research agreements with UMBC faculty;
- Designing and delivering custom courses to help T.
Rowe Price train business analysts in requirements management
and project management;
- Developing major new research centers with support
from NASA (UMBC ranks 16th nationally among universities
in NASA funding) and such companies as Northrop Grumman;

supporting economic growth in Maryland by partnering with emerging
technology companies like Real User, Agnik and Scientific
Products & Systems, to pursue grants through programs
such as the Maryland Technology Transfer Fund and the Maryland Industrial
