ACCESS RESEARCH

UMBC researchers are encouraged to form collaborations with companies. These collaborations enhance faculty research, expand opportunities for students, and promote economic development in the state.

There are many ways to collaborate with UMBC, such as:
1. sponsoring a research project with a faculty member or group of faculty through the Office of Sponsored Programs;

2. licensing university-owned IP through the Office of Technology Development; or

3. donating a gift to support research conducted by specific UMBC faculty, departments, colleges or research centers.
