ACCESS SPACE

UMBC's 41-acre research and technology community (bwtech@UMBC) is comprised of a 5-building Class A Research Park and a technology and bioscience business Incubator. Both Research Park and Incubator companies have access to campus amenities (such as day care, fitness facilities, etc), professional training programs, research facilities and equipment, and UMBC's highly skilled students, graduates and research faculty.

Research Park
UMBC's Research Park, referred to as bwtech@UMBC North, is an ideal location for both established technology companies and early-stage cyber security and IT companies. Comprised of five buildings with 355,000 square feet of Class A office space, the park is located on the UMBC campus. Allegis, U.S. Geological Survey, RMF Engineering, Convergent Technologies Incorporated, Ross Technologies, and Assured Information Security are a few of the companies that call the Research Park home. The campus also houses the Cyber Incubator, Northrop Grumman Cync Program, and the CyberHive, which are part of the growing community of nearly 50 cyber security companies located at bwtech@UMBC. These programs are unique, innovative business incubation programs that deliver business and technical support to early stage companies providing cybersecurity-related products and services.
