Conference Team Mission Statement

It is the mission of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County CAACURH 2006 Regional Conference Team to enrich the lives of attending delegates, by fostering individual growth and offering opportunities for leadership development in their residential communities. We aim as a conference staff to offer an open-minded and non-discriminatory atmosphere where delegates, particularly first time delegates, can have a positive and enriching experience. At the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to grow, develop, and better understand their personal aspirations, and gain a greater cultural, social, academic, and intellectual awareness of the world around them. We will encourage delegates to take a deeper look at choices they make and examine those choices to determine if they are beneficial not only to their personal development, but also to the growth of their residential communities.
