About the Exhibition

Standing as the culminating apex of each students' academic career, the Senior Exit Exhibition is an opportunity for artists to review and share their growth and experiences over their four years at UMBC. This exhibition was made possible through a joint collaboration between the Center for Art Design and Visual Culture and the Visual Arts faculty.

For general support of all our programs we thank Baltimore County and the Maryland State Arts Council. Additional support for exhibition and educational outreach programs comes from the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Special Thanks

Organization for the exhibition would not have been possible without the help of the professors coordinating each area of concentration. Above all, the professors and instructional faculty of the Visual Arts department are responsible for fostering the growth of the professional animators, designers, film makers and photographers featured in this exhibition.

Branding for the 20ll Senior Exit Exhibition renders as an op-inspired composition. The acronym of the exhibition is amplified to create a hypnotic piece that alludes to the visual foundations of the Art department. The typeface of "see" is set in Helvetica Neue Ultralight, while Din was used for accessory text in marketing collateral. Design by David Lee.
