CAHSS Research Fellows

Three faculty members have been named CAHSS Research Fellows for the spring semester 2010 and will be relieved of teaching duties to pursue their research projects:

• lsa Lottes, Associate Professor, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, to complete two papers on sexuality, sexual health, and sexual rights and to develop a grant application to enable an edited book on sexual health in Cuba.
• Calla Thompson, Assistant Professor, Department of Visual Arts, for her project on "Shifting Power--The Corporeal and the Psychological: Site-Specific Installation and Photographic Works."
• Denise Meringolo, Assistant Professor, Department of History, to complete her book manuscript, "A New Kind of Technician: The National Park Service History Division and the Culture of Public History."
