Mr. Eric Conn is an accomplished entrepreneur, executive, technologist, software engineer, and instructor. Over his twenty year career, he has participated in every aspect of the software business; from initial concept exploration, design, and implementation to team building, business development, operations, market analysis, and developing international sales strategies and pricing models. He is the Co-founder and President of Gloto Corp., a software company that specializes in the design, development, and deployment of mass market online products and services that integrate mobile devices and computers.
He has held various positions in leading organizations, including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Raytheon Solipsys, Computer Science instructor at Whiting School of Engineering, Johns Hopkins University and Lead Engineer and Section Supervisor at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL).
Mr. Conn is a member of the Alex. Brown Entrepreneurial Advisory Board at UMBC. He received a BS in Computer Science (Mathematics concentration) with Departmental Honors at UMBC in December 1985. He completed his MS in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University in May 1989, again with Departmental Honors.
