Ms. Anne Burger is the Interactive Marketing Manager at The Baltimore Sun in Baltimore, Maryland where she developed and executed marketing strategy for "baltimoresun.com" that helped increase page views from 146 million in 2001 to 325 million in 2007. She oversees promotions for "Baltimoresun.com" and "Baltimore.metromix.com" and develops print and online ad campaigns to drive site traffic.

She started out as a reporter and copy editor at The Daily Record (now Warfield's Daily Record) in 1987 and was Manager of Editorial Services, Adams Sandler (now Weber Shandwick where she was project manager for agency clients. She moved to the Baltimore Sun in 1992 where she has held several positions including Special Sections Manager and Creative Services Manager.

Ms. Burger is a Board Member of UMBC Alumni Association Board of Directors and has also served as its President. She graduated from UMBC in 1987 with a BA in English and a Minor in Writing.
