Mark Stewart

Mark Stewart is the Sustainability Coordinator at the University of Maryland at College Park. He is responsible for maintaining sustainable practices and initiatives on campus, including reaching climate-neutrality through the Climate Action Plan Workgroup.

Mark started his career as an environmental and earth science teacher at the Howard County Public Schools system before launching his career as the "campus green guy" at UMCP.

Mark has a Master's degree in Higher Education from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Environmental Science and a B.S. in Psychology from UMBC. He is also the President of the UMBC Chapter of Young Alumni and was a Board Member of the UMBC Alumni Association Board of Directors.
