Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg is Curator of Geppi's Entertainment Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. His first book was a guide to Doctor Who collectibles. Howe’s Transcendental Toybox, co-authored with David J. Howe, was published in November 2000, revised in 2003 and followed by two supplementary updates. Arnold has also authored or co-authored The Overstreet Comic Book Grading Guide, The Big Big Little Book Book, Zombiemania: 80 Movies to Die For, and Pop Culture with Character: A Look Inside Geppi's Entertainment Museum. Dr. Blumberg is an adjunct faculty member of the UMBC English department; he created and teaches a course in comic book literature. He received his BA in English with Departmental Honors at UMBC in 1993. In 1996, he completed an MA in Publications Design at the University of Baltimore, and he completed his doctorate in Communications Design (DCD) at that same institution in 2004.
