Maryland has a good chance of passing a Clean Indoor Air bill in the next General Assembly (January to April, 2006). The bill would make all restaurants and bars in Maryland smokefree. The main comment we hear from state legislators is that they would like to hear more from their constituents on this issue.

It can only happen if people contact their state elected officials now and urge their support.
