The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers
a wide range of services to members of the UMBC community. In
addition, the Mass Spectrometry and NMR Facilities are also available
to the research community at large on a for-fee basis. The facilities
serve as a resource offering service, training and instrumentation
with the primary aim of providing investigators with access to
modern instrumentation and/or sample analysis. The glass shop
is also available for services both within and outside of the

The shops and services employees now all have text pagers. Simply log onto
www.myairmail.com and login as UMBCchem, the password is chemshops. There you will find the list of shops for sending text messages.
