The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UMBC welcomes your interest in our graduate program. This brochure outlines various aspects of the program and, in particular, provides information on the wide variety of research problems currently being investigated in our department. The brochure also describes some of the activities available to you at our University, and gives an overview of life in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.
