The Machine Shop is a full service, full-time staffed, facility capable of fabricating devices required by faculty, students, and staff within the Department setting. Contract for off-campus customers is also feasible. The Machine Shop, in addition to fabricating devices, possesses a  full compliment of manual machine tools and will perform repair and maintenance on existing equipment and scientific devices. Other services include advising customers about the feasibility of construction and repair and advising concerning vendors for special parts and services not available at the university. The Shop is located at the Warehouse building in room 111 adjacent to the Shuttle Bus Service and the hours of operation are from 8:00am to 3:30pm.
