The tutorial center is located in room 145 of the Myerhoff chemistry building. Many students take advantage of the Chemistry Tutorial Center, a unique asset of our instructional program. Staffed by a Ph.D. Chemist who both tutors and directs instruction by a trained cadre of advanced undergraduates and graduate students, the Center is open daytime and evening hours for scheduled and walk-in help with chemistry. Introductory courses in Chemistry are the focus of highly innovative externally funded initiatives to improve instruction and retention of students in chemistry and allied curricula.
