A post-doctoral position available immediately in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the University of Maryland Baltimore County. The position will focus on the development of methods for molecular modeling of proteins and protein-RNA complexes from sparse distance constraints. The ideal candidate should have experience in different areas of computational biology/chemistry, including model building, homology modeling, virtual ligand screening and docking. Available tools include a Linux cluster and an SGI graphic workstation including macromolecular crystallography packages, such as X-PLOR, CNS, and others.
