Our research is at the interface of experiment and computation. We develop software and algorithms for the analysis and visualization of scientific data, with a particular emphasis on data from Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy. Our NMRView software is one of the leading applications for analyzing NMR data from proteins and nucleic acids. We also focus on the analysis of metabolomic research data. Here we develop software for the statistical analysis and pattern recognition of NMR spectra of bodily fluids (urine, CSF, plasma etc.). These analyses can be used to understand the metabolic state of an organism and its response to drugs and disease.
