Congratulations to graduate student Sarah Zimmermann was just chosen as one of only 5 US students to attend an international conference/workshop in San Paolo, Brazil - "Natural Products, Medicinal Chemistry and Organic Synthesis Integrated Solutions for Tomorrow's World"  - all expenses paid!! Only 100 students world-wide were selected to attend this elite conference, and she was one of only 5 selected from the USA.  Four Nobel prize winners including Nigishi and Schrock will be there giving talks, along with a number of other world-class speakers. This comes on the heels of her being chosen for a short talk last week at the Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Oligonucleotide Gordon Research Conference.
