This is the 7th Special INTEREST WORKSHOP, CO-SPONSORED BY THE INSTITUTE OF MATHEMATICAL STATISTICS, FOCUSED ON THE APPLICATIONS OF PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS IN THE FIELDS OF FINANCE AND INSURANCE
About the 7th IMS-FIPS Workshop
By bringing together a global cast of leading experts and junior researchers from academia, industry and government, this workshop, held annually since 2011, underscores the contributions of Probability and Statistics, particularly recent developments in big data and high-dimensional statistical methods, networks, reinforcement learning and dynamic optimization, to the fields of Finance and Insurance. It is also a satellite workshop of this year's Joint Statistical Meetings at the Baltimore Convention Center that is accessible by public transportation.

Registration
Registration fee is $200 on or before July 15, 2017, and $250 afterward. Registration fee for students, postdocs, state and federal government employees is $40. Click → here ← to register.
