Paper: Meta Analysis for ROC Curve

When the parametric model is correctly specified, all three methods provide almost unbiased estimator, even when the number of study is relatively small. When the parametric model is correctly specified, the individual data can be used to improve the estimation accuracy. The gain against the analysis using pairs of FPR and TPR can be substantial. When the parametric model is misspecified, using individual data may introduce some biases in estimating the ROC curve. The ROC curve based combination (method 2) seems to be a good compromise between using the individual data and only pairs of FPR and TPR.
