Free initial consulting of up to two hours is available in the CIRC office where CIRC Research Assistants field questions on mathematics and statistics and provide quick answers to small projects.
Hands-on workshops on mathematical and statistical software packages are offered on a weekly basis. This is a collaboration with the Office of Information Technology at UMBC.
Consulting projects of larger magnitudes and long-term support for research programs can be arranged for on-campus as well as off-campus organizations.
A weekly social hour, provided by the Mathematics and Statistics department, gives faculty and graduate students time to socialize and learn more about CIRC activities and benefits.
Weekly CIRC meetings give graduate students participating in CIRC an opportunity to learn more about interdisciplinary research, gain insight into the CIRC infrastructure, and acquire fundamental teamwork experience.
Support for other departmental activities is also provided as needed.
