The belief and philosophy of The Commons at UMBC is that of a college union, a building and a community. The Commons staff provides a safe and welcoming environment for UMBC as well as visiting communities who utilize the space. The diverse UMBC culture is reflected through the décor, program offerings, and availability of services. The Commons staff is committed to helping all who pass through our doors and represents the university as a whole in all interactions.
