CWIT at the United Nations: II
Creating Global Transformation: Women & ICT
The Center for Women and Information Technology (CWIT), in partnership with the United States Mission to the United Nations, organized and participated in an international panel focusing on the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on the lives of women and girls. The panel, held at the United Nations on October 13, 2005, included national and international leaders representing business, education, and non-governmental organizations. Ambassador Ellen Sauerbrey served as the panel's facilitator. Panel members and their presentations included the following:
