Cybersecurity Scholarship Opportunities

Because this program is designed primarily for working professionals, graduate or teaching assistantships are not available. In many cases, students receive financial support from their employers. However, students accepted into the CYBR MPS program may apply for the Federal Cybercorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program. SFS provides full tuition, annual stipends, and other educational costs in exchange for working in a cybersecurity capability for the US government upon graduation. SFS requires US Citizenship, full-time enrollment, no other meaningful outside employment, and the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Once accepted to the CYBR MPS you may apply for SFS. Contact Dr. Alan Sherman (sherman@umbc.edu) or visit: http://www.cisa.umbc.edu/scholarships.php for more details and application information.

Financial Aid

Currently, this program is not offering any financial aid or graduate assistantships. However, additional opportunities may be available through other academic departments. For the most complete information on financial aid for prospective graduate students refer to the Financial Aid Office.
