About myUMBC
myUMBC is UMBC’s electronic “One Stop Shop” for a number of services you’ll use as a UMBC student, such as paying your bill, checking your student account, getting a parking permit, accessing your email, managing your email account and logging into Blackboard.
To activate your myUMBC account, please click here and choose the "Create my Account" link. Activating your account requires your date of birth and UMBC Campus ID. Your campus ID can be found at the bottom of your official acceptance letter from the Graduate School, or contact Lisa Gambino by e-mail at gambino@umbc.edu or phone (410) 455-3034.
Once you have created your UMBC account, you can log into myUMBC anywhere, anytime 24/7. All new students should become familiar with the many services and resources available on the site.
Registering for Classes
After activating your myUMBC account, you may register online. Refer to the Schedule of Classes for course availability.
Instructions for registering for classes can be found via myUMBC under the “Classes & Grades” topic.
Parking Services
All students attending classes on campus are required to secure a parking permit. Students may register for a parking permit online via myUMBC.
Log into myUMBC, select Parking and Transportation. Under “Topics," select “Manage Parking Account.”
UMBC Campus Card
All new students should apply for the UMBC campus card. This photo ID card provides access to a number of campus services and facilities.
