I am very familiar with Matlab, C++ and Java, but I am quite unfamiliar with the rest of the software. The information provided in this page is insufficient. The characteristics should be compared.

I have a question that I would be very grateful if someone could answer. Why is Matlab not in the list? I have seen that R is in the list. Could someone please tell me if you cannot do with Matlab things that you can do with R? I mean things that are relevant to Distributed Data Mining.

Even if Matlab is not well suited for DDM, I think it should be listed in the list and it should be explained why Matlab is not a good choice for DDM.
