User:Kunliu

Kun Liu is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). His research focuses on privacy preserving data mining and distributed data mining. His advisor is Dr. Hillol Kargupta. Before coming to UMBC, he studied in Nankai University, China and he graduated from there in 2001 with a B.S. degree in Computer Science. He is a student member of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics).

Kun Liu's research interests include privacy preserving data mining, distributed data mining and machine learning. He is also maintaining three public repositories for the privacy preserving data mining and distributed data mining communities. They are the Privacy Preserving Data Mining Bibliography, the Distributed Data Mining Bibliography, and the Distributed and Ubiquitous Data Mining Wiki.
