- UMBC eBiquity: The UMBC eBiquity Research Group consists of faculty and students from the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (CSEE) of University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), located in Baltimore MD. Their research explores the interactions between mobile computing, pervasive computing, multi-agent systems and artificial intelligence, and web-based services. Group members have research interests in the underlying areas, such as distributed systems, mobile networking and systems, data management for pervasive/mobile systems, ad-hoc networks, knowledge representation and reasoning, personalization, web/data-mining, multi-agent systems and security. Much of our research is driven by applications in the e-sevices area -- e-commerce, m-commerce, home-automation, wireless web, etc.
- KDubiq: KDubiq (Knowledge Discovery in Ubiquitous Environments) is the first Coordination Action (CA) for Ubiquitous Data Mining, 100% funded by the European Commission under IST (Information Society Technology), FET Open (Future and Emerging technologies) in the 6th Framework Programme.
- UK-UbiNet: UK-UbiNet is an EPSRC funded network of research in the area of Ubiquitous Computing. These web pages are focussed at describing the UK-Ubinet, providing updates and links to interesting events in the area of Ubiquitous Computing.
- Knowledge Grid Site: The Knowledge Grid project at University of Calabria is developing architectures, tools and services for distributed data mining and knowledge discovery in Grids. The Knowledge Grid enables the collaboration of scientists that must mine data that are stored in different research centers as well as executive managers that must use a knowledge management system that operates on several data warehouses located in the different company establishments.
