Summer Session at UMBC

Summer Session is a great way for current, incoming and visiting students to earn credit and move one step toward graduation. Registration for Summer Session 2014 begins March 24.

Summer and Winter Programs

Summer and Winter Sessions provide an opportunity to get a jump start on graduation requirements, lighten fall/spring course loads, focus on courses that need extra study time, and enjoy smaller classes and personal attention from UMBC's exceptional, student-focused faculty. Students can earn up to 16 credits during Summer Session (May-August) , which offers 4,6,8 and 12 week sessions, and up to 4.5 credits during Winter Session (January).

UMBC also offers Summer STEM, an initiative to help UMBC and visiting students stay on track with their STEM curriculum by offering a variety of STEM courses.
