Every month of the semester the Dresher Center will highlight a quote from a famous figure in the humanities in order to recall the central role the humanities play in our sense of our own humanity and intellectual and moral development.  These quotes will appear on different colored buttons, which we encourage you to pick up and wear! The buttons are available for free at various events sponsored by the Dresher Center, such as the Humanities Forum. You may also stop by the Dresher Center to request the latest addition to the collection. If you are interested in having a special quote chosen for a future button, please send your name, the quotation and its author to dreshercenter@umbc.edu.
