The Dresher Center at UMBC is a leading resource for the study of human thought and culture, serving the scholarly community and the public through humanities research and programming. Building upon UMBC’s strong humanities faculty and programs, the Dresher Center will engage scholars, students, visiting fellows and the community in exploring societal issues through the wide-ranging perspectives of humanities scholarship through a variety of workships, seminars and lectures.
