Additional scholarships and funding opportunities may be available from other agencies. Teacher candidates are encouraged to research other options in addition to submitting an application for the UMBC teacher education scholarship programs.

The UMBC Department of Education graduate assistantships are available to qualified full-time, degree seeking students who are making satisfactory progress toward their degree. Letters of interest and resumes should be submitted to the Department of Education's Graduate Program Director.
