| Teaches
courses in educational psychology, human learning and
cognition, the study of teaching, and research methods
in education. Most recent research is in the area of post
formal operations, every day problem solving, and wisdom
in teaching. Notable publications include Toward Curriculum
for Being: The Voices of Educators (with Louise Berman,
Francine Hultgren, Jessie Roderick and Mary Rivkin), and
articles in honor society journals such as Educational
Forum and educational HORIZONS.
Dr. Lee served as the Director of the School Concentration
and Coordinator of the Post Baccalaureate Teacher Education
Program and is currently Vice Provost for Student Academic
Affairs. She is UMBC's Presidential Teaching Professor
1997-2000.
