curriculum, and philosophy of education. Most recent research
is in the area of teacher knowledge with emphasis on teacher
beliefs, teachers' disciplinary preparation, and conceptions
of knowledge underlying the college curriculum.
Current writing projects include Learning to Teach
Mathematics for Understanding, a textbook for prospective
teachers of mathematics. Dr. Kinach has strong interests
and extensive experience in the university curriculum
change process, and has served as the Director of the
Undergraduate Teacher Education Program.
