E-Teacher Professional Development Workshop

The E-Teacher Professional Development Workshop is a teacher leadership institute that takes place on the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) campus in Baltimore, Maryland during the summer (July-August). This exciting three-week program is specifically designed by UMBC and University of Oregon (UO) for 26 participating English as a Foreign Language (EFL) professionals from around the world. These teacher leaders are selected on the basis of outstanding performance in the E-Teacher Scholarship Program. This year the dates of the Workshop are: July 21 - August 11, 2012.

The E-Teacher Professional Development Workshop is part of a larger program called the E-Teacher Scholarship Program funded through the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, Office of English Language Programs. This program offers 7 innovative, online, graduate level courses to English teaching professionals abroad through these two U.S. universities:
